"Part part of why we delayed so long was that we wanted to be sure the polish of the game was at a stage where we were content and pleased to launch it alongside the launch on mobile Diablo 2 Resurrected Items," Burgess said. "We are confident that it's at the best point."

Diablo Immortal will feature numerous MMO-like features, like hub towns that are multiplayer 8-player raids, PvP battlegrounds and the massive Cycle of Strife system. All of these are firsts for the series and a few of these features, like various PvP modes as well as a multiplayer hub town--were ideas which were first developed by Diablo during its development.

Diablo Immortal's Barbarian performs exactly as fans of the franchise expect.

While Diablo Immortal is cutting-edge both as the franchise's first mobile and free to play entry and as a more social-focused MMO with live-services, was essential that the game feel like it was a real Diablo experience.

There are a few Paragon trees that have group bonuses which can make you more deadly when in a group others, but ultimately the idea was to make the classes feel good D2R ladder items buy, and we did a lot of testing and balancing , to make sure that all classes were on the same page."
